Education

The objective of the College of Education is to educate students to become competent efficient secondary school teachers. The College provides them with the knowledge and discipline required for being a teacher. It has 12 Departments: Pedagogy, Korean Education, English Education, Chinese Classics Education, History Education, Geography Education, Social Studies Education, Mathematics Education, Home Economics Education, Physical Education, National Ethics Education, and Science Education. The graduates of the College of Education have such privileges as getting secondary school teaching certificates, and assignment of teaching jobs through the Teacher Appointment Examination on a priority basis. The University as a part of the College for the purpose of demonstration and teaching practice runs an attached high school by students. An In-service Education Institute for Secondary School Teachers is run by the College to upgrade the quality of teachers. .
