Program of Industrial Design

Program of Industrial Design is fostering talented individuals who can play an active role in fields of product design, transportation design, interior design, environmental design, and exhibition display design by systematically studying, analyzing, and practicing the correlation of science and art as well as rational problem-solving ability in terms of engineering (materials, mechanism, mass production and more) based on thorough design relation theories and basic formative practices.

Program of Korean Dance cultivates stage artists having the ability to create and teach that would meet the trends of the times by practicing correct positions of Korean dance as the comprehensive art based on the cultural customs of Koreans, and develop dance styles as stage art that displays traditional sentiment of Koreans through Korean dance styles based on traditional Korean dance.

Program of Modern Dance

In Program of Modern Dance, students study impromptu movements through creative works and various experiments of expressing one's emotions, rhythm, and thoughts by perceiving body balance based on natural expression of the body and experiences. Students also learn basic postures and various techniques to produce performances based on practical experiences.

Program of Sculpture aims to foster ability to express using various materials, and to cultivate sculptors who can develop a new sense of formativeness based on extensive understanding traditional and contemporary sculpture. Creative and professional sculptors are produced by practicing and learning in various ways the studies and expression methods of various materials in the newly built large outdoor sculpting yard.

Program of Korean Painting

Program of Korean Painting allows students to formatively express the Korean spirit by understanding and developing contemporary art based on traditions. Students carry out phased learning from basics to specialized courses, in which they harmoniously use inking and coloring based on theories. In freshman and sophomore years, students learn basic expressive techniques and understanding of traditional Korean paintings.
