강원대는 매년 대학회계 예산과 관련된 세입세출 예산서 및 결산서를 제작하여 대학 홈페이지 게시하고 관련 담당자들에게 배부하고 있다. 또한 한국대학교육협의회의 대학알리미（Higher Education in Korea）를 통해 주요 재정정보를 일반 국민 및 모든 교육 수요자에게 공개하고 있다. KNU prepares annual income and expenditure budgets and settlement statements related to the university＇s financial accounts, posts them on the university website, and distributes them to the relevant personnel. Additionally, through the Higher Education in Korea （HEK） of the Korean Council for University Education, major financial information is made available to the general public and all education stakeholders.
강원대는 재정‧회계 규정에 따라 재정위원회를 운영하며 재정 및 회계에 관한 사항을 심의‧의결하고 있다. KNU operates the Finance Committee in accordance with financial and accounting regulations, deliberating and making decisions on financial and accounting matters.
