The Department of Global Convergence at Kangwon National University's Gangneung Campus is an undergraduate program exclusively designed for international students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our mission is to nurture interdisciplinary talents who can meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global society. The department offers three specialized majors—Global Business, General Engineering, and Marine Biotechnology. All courses are conducted entirely in English, ensuring that students develop globally competitive expertise applicable anywhere in the world.

In the first year, students receive structured education in the Korean language and culture to enhance their understanding of Korean society, intercultural sensitivity, and integrative thinking skills. Our curriculum is centered on fostering practical, globally competent leaders who are prepared to excel on the international stage.
